Start of Filming (Production Blog)

Today we started filming. As the editor I don't need to be fully involved in the filming process. By this I mean filming scenes and acting. But I still give my input on how the shots should be filmed so the editing process is smoother. All the scenes were filmed at Greg's house (our chosen location). So, we started off by meeting there and making sure everything was set up. The actually filming of each scene was rocky in the beginning. This is because as a whole we didn't like how they were turning out. But after a few tries we ended with the perfect scenes. So, in the end we persevered and had a productive day of filming. We also put in all of our needed effort. Although the process started out rocky once we got the hang of it was a piece of cake. Though there were some distractions. The main one being Greg's little sister as she wanted to be around while we were filming. But we made it work and ended up including her in the film. Honey as the director overlooked the entire filming process. She also pitched in to act in a few scenes.  After filming was over, I was sent each scene so I could begin the editing process. Overall filming was a very fun process. Now it's time for editing.
